Reviresco - I Flourish Again

My clan journey is just beginning. My great grandmother was a McKewin, whose father John was born in Northern Ireland. I am sure though (I can feel it in my bones) that he was a Scot. I suspect his father left Ayr for North Ireland. Apparently many Scots went to N. Ireland thus became known as Ulster Scots. So when John McKewin came to the US, he was documented as being Irish, and again spelled the name differently.

We are just now beginning to plan our trip to Scotland to search for the MacEwan Castle, after visiting the Morgan Castle in Wales,-(the other family name).
